Cristina Perez, who suffered from RDEB and was an amazing and persistent EB advocate, died on October 7, 2007. We celebrate her life, and we mourn our loss. Cristina was born July 4, 1983. She was our friend. She will be remembered in word, thought and deed.

Event gear for "Walk a Mile in My Shoes" Relay-Rally will not be sold this year. We encourage you to visit Cristina's site (click on logo above) and purchase EB Awareness items available there. It's a CafePress site, so that company does the shipping and manages everything. This is NOT the same thing as Cristina's "EB Health & Home," the shop from which she sold natural wellness items like Manuka honey treatments and Egyptian Magic. That shop is temporarily closed. The only Event Gear available this year will be T-shirts that the EB Advocacy Team will give away throughout Awareness Week at the Rallies and as we encounter participants along the way.
